Lindapter Type AF

Lindapter Type AF high friction girder clamps allow the securing of steelwork to vertical beams without the need for welding. The top of the clamp is recessed to hold the bolt head captive when tightening the nut. A Type AFW insert is available that convert the clamp into a flat top, allowing a nut to be turned. The AFW nut can be inverted allowing larger hexagon heads of grade 10.9 bolts to be held captive. A skirt prevents the clamp from rotating during installation and is suitable for flanges up to 10°, ideal for S-beams. The correct tail length should be selected for the flange, AFCW washers and AF packers can be used to adust to the necessary depth.
