Zinc plated mild steel studding, also known as threaded rod or screwed rod. Unlike some cheaper studding our studding has a 60 degree thread pitch, in short the studding is made from more steel so has greater supporting strength and matches the pitch of hexagon nuts. The studding is threaded throughout its length and is predominantly used for suspending electrical and mechanical services for indoor applications. It's generally supplied in 3m lengths although 1 and 2m lengths are available.
